I hit the ground running with my first wedding as The Loving Life Celebrant, filmed by Channel 4 for the UK series “A New Life in the Sun”, a beautiful celebration of love for Sarah & Lee.

It was all so gorgeous, a beautiful couple, inside and out, with a wonderful lively crowd from Brighton who had traveled to Sunny Spain to celebrate and witness this wonderful couple, make their promises and commitments to each other at the stunning Venue Olta Vista.

The word in the valley was that “Amanda smashed it!”

Naming Ceremonies

Babies and little people are shining examples of unconditional love. Pure potential in action. They are truly hypnotising and mesmerising.

Naming ceremonies and blessings are offered to welcome newborns and toddlers and also to families celebrating the adoption of a child or young person of any age.

It is a perfect celebration for the welcoming of step-children into a relationship or the blending of two families with children coming together to live in unity.

Renaming ceremonies are also designed for adults who choose to take on a new name, this acknowledges a journey of discovery and symbolises a new beginning, including a celebration after a divorce. Trans naming ceremonies can offer a person a life moment, for reflection of their life so far, celebrating freedom and peace of mind and who they have become.

 For Funerals & Celebrations of Life

As an Independent Modern Celebrant, I work closely with individuals, families and close friends, planning a farewell memorial service from the heart, to ensure all your wishes are met.

This can be a sad, sensitive and vulnerable time for many and I am in service to bring clarity and compassion to this occasion that is often created in a swift time frame.

I create bespoke ceremonies with respect & grace that truly honours & celebrates the life of your recently passed loved one.

We will gently explore together, the content of poems, prayers, promises, hymns, rituals, stories, songs or silence, that is fitting to your loved one’s funeral and memorial service.

We are all amazing individual beings that have led colourful lives. Together we will create a beautiful service and send off and I invite you all to embrace this experience of love, life & loss as you gift your farewells in whichever way you choose to say goodbye.
